HOW TO GET TO COASTAL BLUE DIVE IN THE PHILIPPINES.
The Philippines is located in Asia. Dumaguete on Negros Oriental island is located in the Central Visayas. It is a vibrant university town with a population of 120,000 and is known as the City of Gentle People. The night life with live music and night clubs is famous throughout the Philippines.
COASTAL BLUE DIVE is less than 10 miles south of Dumaguete Airport where shady palm trees, sugar cane fields and volcanic mountains dominate the landscape. We are located on the beach right on the shore line where many dive sites are located.
1. FLY TO THE PHILIPPINES
From wherever in the world, take a plane trip to Manila or Cebu Airport. Most foreigners will get a 30 day Tourist Visa upon arrival in the Philippines. Upon arrival in Manila or Cebu, you can either take a flight or a ferry to get to Dumaguete:

ARRIVING BY AIR
From Manila
Air Asia, Cebu Pacific and Philippine airlines service the route to Dumaguete from the Manila. There are multiple flights a day from the domestic terminal at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Dumaguete Airport, known as Sibulan Airport.
From Cebu
Cebu Pacific offers a daily flight from Cebu to Dumaguete. The scenic flight along the coastline takes less than an hour.

ARRIVING BY FERRY
From Manila
2Go ferries services the route Manila – Dumaguete. The ferry is an overnight-trip along the coastlines of many islands in the Philippine archipelago.
From Cebu
From Cebu City, on most days you can catch an overnight ferry to Dumaguete on the Cokaliong Ferry line. Check out their schedules at: https://www.cokaliongshipping.com Generally the ferry leaves Cebu early evening and arrives in the early hours of the morning in Dumaguete.
Alternatively, travel to the south of Cebu to Santandar Port by taxi or bus and pick up a ferry to Sibulan Port just north of Dumaguete – ferry crossing takes about 30 – 40 minutes. Ferries run fairly regularly throughout the day and we can arrange a transfer from Sibulan Port to Mike’s Resort for you or pick up your own transfer or motor tricycle at the port. From Bohol

3. GETTING TO COASTAL BLUE DIVE FROM DUMAGUETE
Private Transfer
We can arrange for Private Transportation to meet you at the Airport or Ferry Terminal and bring you in air-conditioned comfort direct to our residence. The Airport transfer is 1,000php, and takes around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Transfers from other arrival points can be arranged as well.
Public Transport
If you prefer to use public transportation, you have several options. Coming from Dumaguete, you can take a Ceres Bus to Dauin. Go to the Main Bus Terminal in Dumaguete and look for a Bus going to Bayawan, Sipalay or Hinobaan. If in doubt, just ask at the Terminal and they will happily advise you.
Ask the driver to drop you at the Petron gas station in Dauin. From here you can see our signboard on the highway and can easily follow the way down to the beach or ask a local tricycle to bring you to us.
Coming from the south of Negros Oriental, the Ceres Bus has Dumaguete as destination.
